My name is Kamarri Darrington and I currently live in Montgomery, Alabama. I have been a sports fan my entire life and have wanted to be a part of sports media since I was about 10 years old.

I am currently seeking full-time and freelance broadcasting and writing jobs. I have taken classes in broadcast journalism at the University of Miami and sports management classes at Troy University.

I was named the play-by-play broadcaster for men's basketball, women's basketball and softball at Auburn University of Montgomery in 2020. I've done freelance broadcasting jobs with Alabama State, the Open Mic Broadcast Network, NAIA, NJCAA, Dixie Youth Baseball and the Southern States Athletic Conference. I've been working with JockJive Sports for the last five years.

I just completed my first season as the radio play-by-play broadcaster for Troy men's basketball home games and the Troy women's basketball play-by-play broadcaster for ESPN+ and Troy Sports Properties.

I worked with the Montgomery Advertiser newspaper from 2013-2018, covering high school and college athletics. I covered the AHSAA, AISA, Alabama, Auburn, Faulkner, Tuskegee, Alabama State and Huntingdon. I also helped edit and submit stories for print. I helped cover high school athletics for Tallapoosa Publishers from 2019-2020.

I am very adept at using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Wochit for story links, in-game updates, interviews and highlights.
