My name is Kamarri Darrington and I currently live in Montgomery, Alabama. I have been a sports fan my entire life and have wanted to be a part of sports media since I was about 10 years old.

I am currently seeking full-time and freelance broadcasting and writing jobs. I have taken classes in broadcast journalism at the University of Miami and sports management classes at Troy University.

I was named the play-by-play broadcaster for men's basketball, women's basketball and softball at Auburn University of Montgomery in 2020. I've done freelance broadcasting jobs with Alabama State, Huntingdon College, the Open Mic Broadcast Network, NAIA, NJCAA, Dixie Youth Baseball and the Southern States Athletic Conference.

I have been broadcasting games with JockJive Sports since 2016. I have also called SIAC football games for FloSports (2018-19) and ESPN+ (since 2021).

I just completed my third season as the radio play-by-play broadcaster for Troy men's basketball home and select road games, and have called Troy women's basketball home games for ESPN+ and Troy Sports Properties.

I worked with the Montgomery Advertiser newspaper from 2013-2018, covering high school and college athletics. I covered the AHSAA, AISA, Alabama, Auburn, Faulkner, Tuskegee, Alabama State and Huntingdon. I also helped edit and submit stories for print. I have helped cover high school athletics for Tallapoosa Publishers since 2019.

I am very adept at using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Wochit for story links, in-game updates, interviews and highlights.
